Environmental & Sustainability Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Our Commitment

Exquisite Gaming Ltd (EXG Pro) is committed to operating responsibly and minimising our environmental impact. As a product company with a global supply chain and a growing direct-to-consumer presence, we recognise that our business activities have an environmental footprint — and we are committed to continuously improving.

This policy sets out our approach to environmental responsibility across our products, packaging, supply chain, and day-to-day operations.

Regulatory Compliance

EXG complies with all applicable UK and EU environmental regulations, including:

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

EXG is a registered producer under the UK Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for Packaging scheme and complies with reporting and fee obligations. EPR fee calculation and Zoho-integrated reporting is managed through the Compliance Hub.

EXG also monitors and complies with equivalent EPR obligations in other markets where we operate, including EU member states.

WEEE Directive

Where EXG products contain electrical components (e.g. USB-charged collectibles), we comply with applicable Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations in the UK and EU.

Plastic Packaging Tax

EXG monitors its obligations under the UK Plastic Packaging Tax and reports accordingly. Packaging specifications are reviewed to increase the use of recycled content where technically feasible.

Packaging

Packaging is one of EXG's most significant areas of environmental impact. Our commitments:

  • Reduce unnecessary packaging materials and single-use plastics in product packaging
  • Increase recycled content — target a minimum of 30% recycled content in primary packaging where technically feasible
  • Improve recyclability — design packaging to be recyclable at end of life; avoid mixed-material constructions that cannot be separated for recycling
  • EPR compliance — accurately report all packaging placed on market under EPR schemes and pay associated fees
  • Supplier accountability — work with manufacturing partners to reduce packaging waste in the supply chain

Packaging specifications are owned by the Product Development team and reviewed at each product development cycle.

Supply Chain

EXG's manufacturing partners are located primarily in Asia. We recognise that the environmental impact of our supply chain — including factory emissions, raw material extraction, and freight — is significant.

Our commitments:

  • Supplier standards — we encourage manufacturing partners to hold or work towards recognised environmental certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, Bluesign, or equivalent)
  • Freight choices — where timelines permit, sea freight is preferred over air freight due to its lower carbon intensity. Air freight decisions require commercial justification
  • Consolidation — we aim to consolidate shipments to reduce total freight movements
  • Material sourcing — the Product Development team considers environmental impact (including material durability, recyclability, and responsible sourcing) as part of the product specification process

Office Operations

We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our office operations:

  • Energy — switch off equipment when not in use; report lighting and heating issues promptly
  • Waste — reduce waste and maximise recycling; follow office waste segregation procedures
  • Paper — print only when necessary; default to digital for internal documents and communications
  • Travel — use video conferencing in preference to travel where meetings can be conducted effectively remotely; choose rail over air for UK journeys
  • Procurement — preference for suppliers and products with demonstrable environmental credentials where cost and quality are equivalent
